Printer commands are commands that are used primarily from Text Merge and Shared Text Merge layouts to control your printer – they are unique to the printer for which the layout is designed. A printer command can determine the font, size, style or position in which the text is printed. Layouts can be printed using the Cognitive printer (referred to for many years as the Barcode Blaster printer, based on early models), the Boca printer, several laser jet printers and several dot matrix printers (see
