Discount Level 1 – Discount Level 5 | Used to specify certain intervals at which the auto-sold product selected in the DCI dropdown boxes is discounted (a flat rate or a percentage). As long as the pass has at least the value required by the discount level, the auto-sold product is discounted by the configured amount. Up to five levels per pass may be configured. For instance, the third through fifth use of a pass receives a 10% discount, the sixth through eighth use of a pass receives a 20% discount, the ninth use of a pass and every use thereafter, receives a 30% discount. In order to configure this, Discount Level 1 would be set to 3 with a 10% discount, Discount Level 2 would be set to 6 with a 20% discount and Discount Level 3 would be set to 9 with a 30% discount. Discount Levels 4 and 5 would be empty. The Never Reset radio button would be selected in order to keep the counter incrementing in order to allow pass holders to reach the different discount levels. |
Flat Rate | Used with the “discount counter” functionality to specify a flat rate discount once a pass reaches a certain Discount Level. |
% | Used with the Discount Counter functionality to specify a percentage discount once a pass reaches a certain Discount Level. |
Never Reset | Does not reset the value of the discount counter for the pass based on reaching a certain discount level. This allows the pass holder to keep receiving the configured discount on the auto-sold product as long as the discount counter is at least the number specified or until the next discount level is reached. |
Reset At… | Resets the value of the discount counter for the pass based on reaching a certain discount level. For instance, to implement an Every 7th Ticket Free program, the pass product is configured to auto-sell a full price ticket item. The Discount Level 1 is set to 7 and at 7, a 100% discount is applied to the auto-sold ticket item specified in the DCI dropdown boxes. The Reset button is selected next to Discount Level 1 in order to start the count over at 0 once the free ticket is received. |
