Remote Site Setup (WAN Validation)

• Used in WAN validation programs as well as multi-site businesses that share programs via SQL replication. (See the Salesware Validation document for details on WAN validation.)

• Also used to associate the local site number (typically 0) with a name so that guest activity records in Sales may be viewed (Sales > Guest Lookup > Activity button).

Note: Even if WAN validation is not used, the name of the local site are inserted onto this dialog in order to activate this feature in Sales.
