• Valid dates are set to 5/15/2013 through 09/30/2013

• Uses Per Day field is set to 1

• Appropriate pass layout is selected for functionality required of the pass (see Barcodes and magswipes)

• -1 is entered for Uses Per Day

• Operator selects the full price 1-Day Adult Entrance item in the first row of dropdown DCI boxes

• The operator enters 5 for Discount Level 1, enters 100% for the % discount and selects the Reset At button next to the Discount Level 1 line.

• Operator selects Don’t Use Shifts in order to trigger the auto-sale and subsequent deduction of a daily use each time the 5th Day Free pass is auto-validated. This prevents the pass holder from going to multiple salespoints in the same day in an attempt to build up the discount counter in order to get more free tickets. The system tries to deduct a daily use each time the pass is scanned (auto-validated) in Sales. Because there is only one use allowed per day, the auto-validation fails in subsequent attempts using the same pass in the same day.
