Note: Card activity table functionality is advanced functionality that is only implemented when all other standard configuration options for validation programs have been exhausted.

 

Card activity table functionality involves issuing valid sixteen digit card numbers that all start with a common prefix (common BIN and possibly more). Then, based on the swipe or scan of one of these card numbers various actions can occur within Sales.

The most common use of this functionality involves performing different actions based on whether or not the card number swiped already exists within the swipe_no field on a pass record within Salesware.
