Use
The operator adds an item to the sale and clicks the Other button that now says Redeem Benefit? or Redeem Benefit based on optional or forced validation using Member Benefit validation instead of Standard validation.
When adding a guest to a linked Benefit Management item, you can perform a guest lookup and eligible memberships that receive a discount or benefit can be selected and applied to the sale. On the Information Dialog, operators see autosale items to validate, the parameters of the benefit and what is available for redemption and what has been redeemed.
If there are redemptions remaining (not all have been used up for the allocated time period) Sales applies whatever macro has been linked (if any) to the eligible item within the Benefit definition activity.
Example:
Two, 1-Day Adult Tickets receive the discount and the 1-Day Child Ticket does not. Remember, we established a Fixed Quantity of 2 tickets per day for the Benefit. All other parameters have been met (Dates and Day of Week).
Any returns of a Benefit Management item writes a record in the Benefit Redemption table with a negative quantity so that the sum of the quantities during the allocated time frame can be used to determine if there are any more redemptions available.
If there are no more remaining redemptions available for the allocated time period, we return a message on the Information Dialog.
