Exchanging passes
 
Passes can be exchanged for new passes if they are lost or stolen. This is done using garment exchange in a manner similar to exchanging access ticket items. The same pass item can be added to the sale, the Quantity button clicked and the Garment Ex. button clicked. In order to complete the exchange you need to select the Validate button for the line item and enter the pass number from the lost/stolen pass, and then click Check to verify that the pass number is valid for the exchange. Once the sale is finalized, the exchange is complete.
Another way to do the exchange is perform a Guest Lookup from Sales, click the Pass Inquiry button, locate the pass to be exchanged from the list and click the Exchange button. This automatically adds the pass item to the sale and validates it. Then, when the sale is finalized, the exchange is complete.
When a pass item is exchanged by either method, the scan activity from the old pass as well as the valid dates are transferred to the new pass and the old pass is voided.
