For all imports
1. Finally, run the Guest Import utility and select the appropriate components (guests, passes, tickets) to import.
2. If importing guests, there is an option to Keep existing guest numbers. If this option is selected, make sure that the existing guest numbers do not exceed one million in order to prevent a conflict with guest numbers generated within the Salesware system.
3. If importing passes, make sure that matching guest records already exist in the accesso Siriusware SQL database from a previous Guest Import session or that matching guest records are imported in the current Guest Import session.
4. Click Go once the appropriate options are selected.
5. After the import is complete, check the log (available from the View Log button or optionally in the guestimport_log.txt file) to see if there were any problems importing individual records. If there were, you may be able to manually correct those records, remove the datetime stamp from the imported field, set the imp_error field to FALSE and run the Guest Import utility again.
Note: As always, test the import prior to running it on live data. For instance, try running the import on the training data to ensure everything works as expected before running the import on the live data.
