1 This salespoint type cannot later be changed (in the licensing form) to a Classic, Web, SimpleCharge or FileSync salespoint type.

A Mode must be selected in the licensing grid for each salespoint, scanner, reporting station (ReportManager station) or FileSync computer. If T, S, G, R, F or M is selected, then the individually licensable module check boxes (for Passes, Rentals, etc.,) are grayed out and are not available for selection (because they don’t apply).

Note: A Classic salespoint can also be used as a FileSync server. However, licensing is still separate. When initially established, the Classic salespoint is set up first, and then FileSync application is installed on it as described in the Salesware Installation Guide.

You also must select the Mode when creating the salespoint, scanner or reporting station from SysManager > Activities > System Lists > Salespoints. When you click New, you are presented with the following dialog:

You can also select the mode and assign support for new/additional modules to salespoints from the SysManager > Activities > System Lists > Salespoints > New/Edit > Licensing tab on the Salespoint Configuration dialog.
When a site purchases additional products, accesso sends an updated license file. The updated file allows you to add new scanning devices in addition to new salespoints.
