A salespoint ID is automatically assigned to a salespoint when it is created. This ID is automatically populated in the licensing grid in the ID column. IDs are used, for example, in in the middle three digits of a Salesware access number. See the Salesware Validation document for more information about Salesware access numbers and barcodes.
