Using the SysManager > Activities > System Lists > Salespoints > Hide/Unhide button, you can hide salespoints so that they don’t appear on the list of salespoints presented on this dialog and so that they don’t appear in the dropdown lists for reports in ReportManager. However, hidden salespoints still appear in the licensing grid (SysManager > Preferences > Sales Point Licenses), so if you want to free up licenses for new salespoints that are not hidden you must manually remove the checkmarks from the check boxes.

However, you can also make a salespoint a reporting-only salespoint. You do this by changing the Mode for the salespoint to R in the licensing grid. When you do this, you preserve the ability to report on it from the dropdowns in ReportManager. A reporting-only salespoint never uses licenses, so it is never assigned any licenses if it is created for reporting purposes only. If an existing salespoint of another mode is turned into a reporting-only salespoint, any existing licenses used by that salespoint are removed manually.
