How to add contact notes in TechStation
 
This enhancement adds general/contract notes to a rental form (contract) and to be able to view/edit any notes entered for a form in TechStation (e.g., “Don't charge guest for overdues”).
 
Example:
A guest takes a day off of skiing and we want to avoid overcharging guest. It is then easier for us to let the guest keep the rentals instead of return/re-rent.
An Add Note button was added to the form with the ability to create a note on the form. As well, users can edit it in the form's log when the Add Note button is pressed and allow a note to be entered. When the operator is done typing the note, they have the option to either Save the note or Cancel out of the Add Note activity.
An operator can view any notes within the Form Log button. Additionally, the note text is displayed in an editable box, so that an operator can edit an existing note. In order for any edits to an existing note to apply, the operator must supply the password set within the PasswordModifyLog RentEZ_System.INI setting.
