How to easily remove overdue alert on rental items in TechStation
 
The Remove Overdue feature no longer automatically returns equipment, instead it checks if the operator has returned the equipment. If not, an error message is received that the equipment must be returned. Once the equipment is returned, the Remove Overdue button can be used.
To utilize the Remove Overdue button:
1. The operator sells a rental and checks-out equipment to the customer.
2. Once overdue, a message is received in TechStationPC.
3. The operator enters a password and clicks the Remove Overdue button.
An error message is received stating that the equipment must be returned first.
 
4. The operator returns the equipment.
5. The operator enters a password and clicks the Remove Overdue button.
The overdue status is removed.
The date_in column in the r_header table changes to match the value in the date due column.
A record is added in the r_hist table with the value Overdue manually removed in the Notes column for the form.
A note is placed in the RentEZ log file.
