Download Windows Mobile Device Center from the Microsoft web site. This can be found by going to the site (http://www.microsoft.com) and searching for Mobile Device Center which will allow you to copy files to and from the mobile computers.

After downloading and installing Windows Mobile Device Center, it is necessary to verify that the software is properly set up. To do this, without the Mobile Device connected, go to Mobile Device Settings > Connection Settings.

 

 

 

Verify that the settings are as displayed in the Connection Setting screen capture above.

 

Note: if it is necessary to copy files from the network to the device, Allow data connections on device when connected to PC can also be checked.
