Note: When connecting a mobile computer to a PC, it is never necessary to set up a Partnership. Rather choose a Guest Partnership (or no partnership, if that is the option given). However, setting up a partnership allows for ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center to be used over the wireless network.
