Financial Preferences
The Financial Preferences dialog allows the user to set a Financial Start Time, which is useful for situations in which a facility is open past midnight and accounting exports must include those transactions past midnight.
Example:
If your facility is open until 2:00 AM each night and you want those sales from 12:00 AM to 2:00 AM credited to the previous date, you could set your Financial Start Time to 2:30 AM (allowing for closeout processes). The export, when run for 2014-03-08, would actually pull sales data for 2014-03-08 2:30:00 AM to 2014-03-09 2:29:59 AM.
Note: Access to this dialog requires the "SysManager - Menu/Preferences - Financial" security setting.
