To manually execute a job (as opposed to waiting for nightly automatic execution), the user clicks the Execute button, be prompted to select a date and a job is sent directly to the service, its results written to file and the results logged. The application reads this log and returns the results to the user. If there is any trouble communicating with the Export Service, the user is notified.
