Introduction
 
The Folio Charge module, previously referred to as Property Management Software (PMS), allows the Salesware module to interface with hotel management software. The Folio Charge module gives hotels the ability to sell items in the Salesware and bill the charges directly to a guest’s hotel room. This document covers installation and use of the Salesware 4.3 version of the Folio Charge module.
The features of the Folio Charge module include:
• No changes in the way sales are conducted. A single payment type is configured in SysManager to handle all Folio Charge-type charges.
• Sales can be configured to accept Folio Charge charges with only minor additions to the Sales32c.INI file.
• Cosmetic enhancements (logos, fonts and colors) provide consistency with other software applications and reports.
• Data selection criteria allow smart dropdown functionality.
• Convenience for the guest, convenience for you.
• The ability to communicate with multiple Property Management Systems
