Siriusware works with the majority of anti-virus software available today. The key to both systems working properly is to configure the anti-virus software to allow Siriusware applications to run. You also want to exclude any Siriusware programs or directories, including SQL and SQL data, from any real-time scanning. Real-time scanning can significantly slow down Siriusware applications. It is recommended to scan Siriusware applications with a scheduled scan during off hours.

You need to ensure that your point-of-sale user accounts have proper permissions to allow access from the salespoint to the Siriusware/Updates directory which is located on the SQL server. On the server itself, give network permissions on the Siriusware folder. Sharing needs to include these users.
