Enter guest information
Note: Required fields are preceded by an asterisk (*). The sale cannot be finalized until the required fields are populated.
Note: You can schedule the booking first on the Scheduler tab, and then enter Guest information – the Guest name is inserted into the booking bar when the sale is finalized or saved.
1. Enter a First name and/or a Last name. When you tab off the Last Name field, if a matching Guest already exists in the database, and then the Guest data populates the fields. If more than one matching guest exists, a selection screen containing those matching guests is displayed for Guest selection. If no Guest matches, you must enter the relevant Guest data. Once a Guest is selected, that Guest data populates the fields. If no matching records are found, the message, “No Duplicates found” displays at the bottom of the screen.
Note: To remove a selected Guest’s data from the fields, click the Clear button. Tabbing off the last name field after clearing lists possible duplicate records at the bottom of the screen.
Note: You can edit Guest information in this screen simply by typing in the fields. You can edit Guest First or Last name by clicking on those fields to activate them.
2. Access the other tabs (Guest Info 2 and Guest Info 3) by clicking on their labels.
Note: Labels for these user-defined fields are entered in SysManager > Preferences > Guests > Guest Preferences dialog for User Def 1 and User Def 2.
