Multiple bookings in same line item
You can sell more than one of a single booking product in a single line item. However, you can only sell booking products to one Guest per line item. Therefore, if a line item sells three of a particular booking product, a single Guest is entered, and then three of the bookings are scheduled in the Scheduler.
Note: Unlike pass products, multiple booking products in the same line item cannot be sold to more than one Guest.
To sell more than one of a single booking product in a single line item:
1. From the main Sales screen, select a booking product and change the quantity to greater than one. (Click on the quantity.)
2. Click the Set Guest button and enter the data for the Guest in the three Guest Info tabs. Notice that along the top of the Guest information entry dialog there is the information described in the following table:
ITEMS CREATED: x OF x | If a multiple number of this booking is being sold in this line item, this line displays which in the series is being currently edited. Note: To sell multiple bookings to multiple Guests, enter a line item for each Guest. To sell multiple bookings to a single Guest, enter one line item and change the line item number to the number of bookings needed. |
3. Enter the Guest’s preferences in the Schedule Filter tab.
4. Click the Scheduler tab.
5. Drag and drop the first booking into the appropriate slot.
6. Repeat the drag and drop process for each booking you are selling to this Guest.
7. Click Save and the Guest name and the word SCHEDULE are displayed on the Set Guest button.
8. Finalize the sale.
Note: If you save the record before scheduling the bookings, the word SCHEDULE is displayed on the Set Guest button with the Guest name. You cannot finalize a sale with bookings until all bookings sold are also scheduled.
