Marking equipment as active/inactive
Equipment that is no longer in use may be marked as inactive. Inactive equipment cannot be rented via the TechStationPC/PPC applications. To mark a piece of equipment as inactive, select it from within the results grid and click the Active/Inactive button. A prompt asks for verification of the inactive status. Once verified, the equipment is marked “inactive.”
To view inactive equipment, check the Show Inactive box and click the Find/Refresh button. All inactive equipment matching the other filters specified is displayed with a line through each inactive record.
To activate a piece of inactive equipment, select the inactive record from within the results grid and click the Active/Inactive button. A prompt asks for verification of the active status. Once verified, the equipment is marked as active again.
