In order to create rental reservations for families or groups, add the appropriate rental items to a sale for all members of the family or group. Enter the required guest information for the rental items based on information provided by the family/group and save the sale or reservation. Discount pricing based on group rates or reserved rates can be achieved by either applying a special to the sale or by applying an account configured with a Dynamic Pricing Rule to the sale.
Once reservations or saved sales have been entered, the Rentals Arrival Report can be helpful in generating a list of those reservations and groups that are due to arrive on a specific day for a specific rental shop. This can be used to get a general idea of how much traffic to expect for the date and shop specified along with providing specific guest information necessary to pre-set equipment. This can significantly decrease the amount of time required to process groups.
