Creating the Rental Auto-Sale Rules
There are three basic sections of the rules:
• Specifying the Day definition
Example:
What are full day vs. half day vs. free day. For instance, the customer may be allowed to pick up their skis after 3:00 PM for the next day with no charge for the current day.
• Specifying what item is added as a modifier upon recall of the contract based on the current rental inventory checked out on the form
• Grouping the same modifier items
Example:
A three day rental of a Basic Ski Packages adds a single Basic Ski Package modifier with a parameter of 3 rental days instead of adding a Basic Ski Package modifier three times.
