The Returns Expected Report is not used in a pay-upon-return rental shop because the rental contracts are essentially open to the guest for an unlimited number of days and thus no due date is ever really calculated based on the item’s time span configuration. Returns Expected Report allows an option to print rentals due on or before a particular date rather than only due on a particular date. The option was added to include rentals already checked-in as well.
