Basic Inventory Management utilizes the power of the Siriusware Rentals Module allows for quick and easy rentals of equipment (lockers, audio tour equipment, wagons, iPads, wheelchairs, etc.) at the salespoint. Rental inventory is configured in SysManager and scanned in Sales. Based on the inventory’s current status (In, Out, Maintenance, Lost, Stolen, Etc.,) a Rental Auto-Sale Rule attached to the inventory, performs the corresponding action, such as the auto-sale and subsequent check-out of equipment when the current status of the scanned item is In. Additionally, a Basic Rental Inventory Management activity in Sales allows inventory to be marked as In Maintenance, Lost, Stolen, Found, Sold, etc.
Finally, RFID, in the form of a key fob, for example, can be used to make the scan (read) of the equipment inventory in Sales very quick.
