In order to set the price of Reserved Seating ticket items based on various factors (e.g., level or section, obstructed vs. non-obstructed view, etc.) or to establish discount package pricing for a Series, use Dynamic Pricing capability.

 

Important: When creating pricing for Reserved Seating items, LOOPFORQTY() must be included at the beginning of every rule in order to have the pricing rules calculate per seat per show.

 

Note: Dynamic Pricing conditions that reference text fields, such as Level Description, Production Description, Show Description, etc., are not case sensitive and the full length of the description does not need to be entered.

 

When specifying the Show, “An Acoustic Evening with Matisyahu”, the Show condition in the Dynamic Pricing Rule can be simplified to An Acous. Just take care to provide enough of the description to find the correct match.
