Member pass validation

If the RequireMemberPassEntry setting is set to TRUE in the RS_AppSettings.config file, then the Member Pass prompt screen, as illustrated below, appears. The text displayed on the Member Pass Entry page is also configurable with the MemberPassEntryPromptText setting also in RS_AppConfig.config. All member pass validation is completed on this page and no longer in the Seat Selection pages. Pass numbers entered and validated on this screen, are saved in the session and available throughout the seat selection process. Not entering a pass number results in member-only items not displaying as available options.

Note: Users who log-in with a valid membership number can purchase Member Only Reserved Seating tickets.

1. Enter the Pass or Member Number in the text box and click OK to validate. If the user would like to continue without entering a pass number, simply leave the text box empty and click Continue.

2. Notice that initially the OK button is disabled and only the Continue button is enabled. The OK button becomes active once the user enters their pass number and either tabs or clicks outside of the text box.

3. If the value entered is invalid, a message appears and the user can either, correct the entry and validate again or click Continue to skip this step.

4. If a valid number has been entered, the user is automatically redirected to the Seat Selection screens. The member or pass number is saved in the session and available throughout the seat selection process.
