1. It is very important that you run the inventory pricing program off-hours because item price changes affect real-time actives. Also, changes to pricing that you make require Sales to update (usually when the operator clicks the Finalize button). This causes SalesEZ application to slow down and make Sales slow.

2. It is very important that you make a good backup of SiriusSQL data before making changes via the inventory pricing program because there is no “undo” in the program. The only way you can undo the changes is by restoring the data to its state before the changes. Again, this is not done during hours or normal operation.

3. There is no way to revert back to original prices when using the % discount, so this is used for final markdowns.

4. Similarly, there is no way to mark things down for a period of time, and then resetting to original pricing. There is no date range option.

5. Training mode is very useful for practicing with Inventory Pricer utility.
