• Output: Organized by DCI. Includes Department, Category, Nickname, Item Description Quantity Sold, Cost of Goods, Net Receipts, Profit/Loss and Margin.
• Available Filters: Date Range, DCI, Vendor, Location.
• Typical Use: To determine store profitability and pinpoint sales winners and losers for purchasing decisions.
• At large sites, Profit & Loss Reports should be run with Department and Category settings. This prevents timeouts when running the report. Generally when the run time of the Profit & Loss Report is over eleven minutes, it is a sign that more filtering needs to be in place as a SQL timeout is imminent.
