Cash Management

Cash Management functionality automatically sends a notification signal once a cash drawer has exceeded the pre-set limit for cash in drawer. Furthermore, a bag number is assigned to the cashier at the beginning of their shift along with their starting till amount. When a skim/pull is conducted at a selling station, the amount is entered into the Point-of-Sale (POS) station and two receipts print. When the cashier completes their shift, the Cash Drawer Reconciliation Report lists the amount a cashier is supposed to have in their possession.

There are three distinct pieces of functionality surrounding this enhancement:
1. The configuration of cash thresholds for automated alerts
Automatically sends a notification signal once a cash drawer has exceeded the pre-set limit for cash in drawer.
2. The ability to assign bag numbers and banks (floats) and collecting skims
3. When a skim/pull is conducted at a selling station, the amount is entered into the POS station and two receipts print out declaring the amount of excess cash that was removed from the drawer; one for the cashier to keep in the drawer and one to go with the money back to the vault. When the cashier completes their shift, the Cash Drawer Reconciliation Report lists the amount a cashier is supposed to have in their possession, minus the skims/pulls already taken earlier from the cashier.
