The SysManager > Preferences > Miscellaneous > Manager tab > Keyboard Seek Timeout spinner is used to control how fast you can type by speeding up or slowing down the rate at which the application accepts input. Locating a name in a long list is easier when the program finds the closest match as you type. Once you pause for a certain amount of time and then resume typing, Salesware assumes you are entering a new name. Keyboard Seek Timeout allows you to set this specific period of time.
