• Pass Is Valid dates are blank – Time Span on the General tab is set to 5 days in order to dynamically set the valid dates of the ticket based on the start date assigned at the time of sale.
• Total Uses field is set to 3 (could alternatively use Points1, Points2, Money1 or Money2).

• Auto Pass Validate tab
• -1 is entered for Total Uses.
• Access Delay is set to ten minutes as that is the absolute fastest amount of time that a guest could ride a lift and get back down to the bottom.

• Operator selects Shift =1 Day because the ticket may be scanned multiple times in a single day. If Don’t Use Shifts was selected, the 3 out of 5 day ticket would become invalid after only three scans at the lift.
• Write Use Logs is checked in order to record scan activity each time a 3 out of 5 Day Lift Ticket is scanned even if values are not deducted with subsequent scans of the same ticket in the same day.
• Item Discounts tab – nothing
• Remote Validation tab – nothing
