Pass auto-validation overview
Pass auto-validation programs involve giving a guest (or an employee) a barcoded and/or magswipe encoded pass that is scanned at remote locations in order to gain entrance or is scanned/swiped in Sales in order to auto-sell an item. These passes can also be scanned/swiped in Sales to automate the application of discounts. The configuration of these types of programs occurs within the Action Specifics for Passes located on the Action tab of an item in SysManager. Sample programs include:
• Membership cards
• Season passes
• Employee passes
• Multiple use passes
