The Auto Pass Validate tab is used to specify what actions are taken on the pass values when auto-validated (not when validated with a DCI). Remember to specify only the amount of value that are added or deducted per scan/swipe or per day. Additional options on this tab include the ability to set minimum delays between validations and resetting pass valid dates based on the first scan/swipe. Any configuration on the Auto Pass Validate tab affects all passes of that DCI – both existing passes and those yet to be sold.

 

An operator configures a fifteen use pass. The operator adds fifteen total uses to the Starting Values tab and deducts one use (-1) from the Total Uses option on the Auto Pass Validate tab because this is the number of uses that are deducted each day that the pass is scanned.
