Discounts based on the pass used for validation
The second piece of functionality available within the Item/Pass Relationships tab is the ability to apply Sales screen action macros to an item based on the pass entered for the validation. (For more information on Sales screen action macros, see the Salesware Dynamic Pricing document.) This allows a single item to be validated by many types of passes and have a different discount applied to the item based on the type of pass entered for the validation. There are three basic functions available:
3. Applying specials and/or discounts (SPECIAL macro).
4. Checking point values and applying specials based on the point value, and then resetting points (CHECKPOINTS macro).
5. Checking point values and applying specials at regular point intervals (EVERYX macro).
