In private booking, most preferences are predefined (female/male, levels, experience, etc.), although there are a few user-defined fields (List 1 and List 2, some check boxes and number fields) that can be used as user-defined preferences for matching Guests to Instructors. In pod booking, the preference process is much more flexible. All preferences are user-defined, including their names, their data types, and the relationship between the pod preference and the Guest preference (equal to, greater or less than, etc.).

Also, pod booking sorts on preferences, as opposed to filtering on preferences. In other words, you are not limited by the preferences chosen. All pods are displayed and the one that best fits the preferences are listed at the top when you go to book the pod.
