Products
In order to sell private booking products, they must first be defined in SysManager. For a complete discussion of organizing data for product entry, see the Salesware User Guide for Beginning Users.
For each product, think about the following criteria:
• If the product has an age range associated with it, record the minimum and maximum allowable ages.
• Think about what prints when the product is sold and what information needs to be on the printed item(s).
• Assign a twenty-five character-or-less description of the booking that represents the product in the schedule and on the voucher for the guest. This description is best kept short to be included as a whole in the booking bar when booked into the schedule.
• Assign a lesson type to each product.
• Assign the default time length of the booking.
• Decide whether the booking time length is adjustable to exceed the default length.
• Specify a set of start times that apply to this product.
• Specify the default start time for the product.
• Specify whether the start times are enforced or are simply guidelines.
• Think about what attributes you’d like to assign this product in order to match it with guest preferences, including:
• A user-defined instructor group
• Female or male instructor
• Type of lesson (alpine, snowboard, telemark or other)
• Instructor base
• Preferred instructor
• Experience level
• Think about which attributes are required, preferred or do not apply to each product.
• Think about any user-defined attributes you would like to define and apply to products
