Exchange a Private Instruction booking
Sometimes customers want to change their two hour booking to a three hour or some other form of exchange. To exchange one booking product for another, simply return (see
To return a Private Instruction booking product:) the first product (and delete it from the
Schedule) and sell the second product (and insert it in the
Schedule), in the same sale.
Finalize and either collect or return the extra money.
To exchange one booking product for another:
1. Select the original product in the item list.
2. Change the quantity to –1.
3. Click on the Set Guest button and access the Scheduler tab.
4. Locate the relevant booking in the Schedule and double-click on it.
5. Click the Delete button and the booking bar turns grey.
6. Save the item.
7. Add the new booking item to the sale and select Set Guest.
8. On the scheduler, select the desired instructor (if it is the same instructor as the deleted booking, i.e., the grey booking bar is in the schedule, this is correct for this step).
9. In the lower right, click on the Steal button, to access the booking information for the deleted booking in the sale.
10. Select the booking ID. This updates the booking in the appropriate manner.
11. Click the Save button.
12. Finalize the sale.
