ww.dll installation
If you are not sharing a single web server with an E-Commerce installation, you need to install ww.dll on the Rentals web server. The Rentals web server may or may not be combined with your Rentals server. Installation of ww.dll is very similar to how this same installation is done for E-Commerce module, as documented in the Salesware E-Commerce Installation Guide. Greater detail is provided in that document than what is presented here.
Note: As of version 4.1, ww.dll is installed as a web garden, without COM+. This approach works for Self Entry module as well. If you are sharing a single web server with an E-Commerce installation and using a web garden, Self Entry and E-Commerce modules can share the same application pool or use different application pools.
On the ww.dll server:
1. Create a \ww folder under the siriusware directory.
2. Extract the files from c_ww_xxxx.exe to C:\Program Files\siriusware\ww.
3. Register the ww.dll file.
How to register a .dll file:
1. Right-click the .dll file and choose Open With.
2. Click Open With.
3. Choose to Select the program from a list.
4. Click Browse.
5. Browse to %systemroot%\system32\regsvr32 and select it.
6. Click OK.
7. Click OK.
