In order to calculate DIN settings for customers who own boots, scan the equipment barcode configured for the Customer Boots equipment inventory record (see Special rental inventory items). The Customer Boots inventory item is added to the rental contract and the rental tech clicks on the Set Boot mm button in order to enter the boot sole length in millimeters. Once the boot sole length for the customer boots is entered and a ski is attached to the rental contract, the DIN setting is calculated for the guest.
