To specify a salespoint as belonging to a group, insert the following into the local Sales32c.INI file:

[salespoint]

group=name of group

where name of group is any group name that appears under the Global Salespoint INI tab between the <name of group> and </name of group> tags.

When Sales starts, the Sales32c_default.INI and Sales32c_group.INI files are created from scratch using the settings specified in the global .INI. If these local files are user-modified, the changes are overwritten upon startup of Sales with the settings contained in SysManager > Preferences > Miscellaneous > Global Salespoint INI.

Note: When installing Sales on a salespoint using the Sales installer, you are prompted to optionally use one of the following default group names (these correspond to the groups defined by default under the Global Salespoint INI tab):

• Bar

• Cafeteria

• Golf

• Retail

• Tickets

• Rentals

• TableService

• Lessons

• Reservations

• SimpleCharge

• EcommSalesHost
