Under the hood
 
When Sales starts, the following files are created from the server data:
• Sales32c_default.INI - contains global defaults
• Sales32c_group.INI – contains group settings
 
Note: If these local files are user-modified, the changes are overwritten upon startup of Sales with the settings contained in SysManager > Preferences > Miscellaneous > Global Salespoint INI.
 
These settings are stored in the local prefs_sl table in the sp_ini fields.
Additionally, in the Sales32c_release.txt file, you can search on <defaults> to read programmer notes about this functionality.
