Troubleshooting
When you are having trouble making the settings you want function correctly, here are some steps to troubleshoot:
1. Verify that what is entered in SysManager > Preferences > Miscellaneous > Global Salespoint INI is accurate and contains beginning and ending tags for each section.
2. Verify that settings are not overriding other settings – local settings override group and global settings, group settings override global settings. Check the problematic settings and ensure that they are set up correctly and not overriding each other in a way you do not intend.
3. Delete the following files and restart Sales. New files are rebuilt from the server settings in SysManager > Preferences > Miscellaneous > Global Salespoint INI:
a. local prefs_sl table
b. local Sales32c_default.INI file
c. local Sales32c_group.INI file
